Welcome to Buckleburgh!
This is our very first tabletop game, and it’s a lovely way to begin your adventure. You will meet friendly characters, play a simple game, and make up your own stories as you go.

How to Start

First, you will need a map.
You can print the map (A1 is best, A2 is fine),
or you can make your own map by following our easy tutorial.

Making your own map is fun — you can change it however you like!

You Will Need

• One dice

• One big piece of paper or card
  (Wallpaper, flip-chart paper, or lots of A4 pages stuck together work well)

• Six small coloured objects
  (Buttons, coins, or card tokens)

• The game rules
  (Print them or read them on a screen)

• Anything else to make your game sparkle! Glue, tape, paint or even  glitter!)

 

Make Your Own Stories

As you play, look closely at the map.
You will see strange and funny objects — like a lost sock!

These belong to different characters.
Use the character cards to find out:

• Who lost the object

• Why it is there

• Who might need it next

You can decide if it helps a Friend or causes trouble for a Foe.

There are no wrong answers — just stories waiting to be told ✨
